It was a morning full of emotions.
They were not professional actors, and their performance was not perfect. But despite having only three days to practice, they delivered a performance so moving it had the entire audience in tears.
But this was not an ordinary play. The people on stage are widows and orphans of the drug war. Behind their performances are real stories of how they have lost their loved ones. Behind their masks, real tears.
The play, organized by the Catholic Church, not only serves to raise awareness on the killings but also helps relatives of those killed in the drug war to cope with the trauma of losing their loved ones. A very important and must watch play.
