Shepherding the Homeless

Arnold Janssen Kalinga (AJKC) Center continues to seek the lost; to give food to the hungry, drink to the thirsty, clothes to the naked, a welcome smile to the stranger and outcast. Apart from the 8 Safe Shelters that continue to provide dignified care for 424 (389 adults and 35 children) homeless and 81 frontliners in Catholic Schools in Manila, the AJKC, each day for the past two weeks, has also been providing 500 food and nourishment for our street dwellers in Luneta and Quezon City areas. Images below depict smiles and words of thanksgiving when our dear homeless see us coming before sundown of each day.

“I am the good shepherd. I know my own and my own know me, just as the Father knows me and I know the Father; and I lay down my life for the sheep” (Jn 14–15).

“Embracing the mission of providing dignified care for the homeless and the vulnerable in Society.”
