Recreating and Empowering Lives

“Recreating and Empowering Lives”

(Fr. Flavie L. Villanueva, SVD)

When I first met them, I was listening to their traumatic stories how their loved ones were killed, as we grieved together.

Today, they arise from the ashes of their grief. Today, they take charge of their lives as single parents, as renewed and empowered women, and as entrepreneurs!

Kalinga Ni Psalm Pablo Lechon Manok-Liempo is a courageous and creative compassion of Ms Myles Marl Montemayor and Coach Ruben Lanot.

Through the cooperation of The Passionist Congregation represented by Fr. William Pondo, CP and the Parish of St. Paul the Cross with their dedicated lay workers, despite the fear that COVID-19 triggers, wounds are being healed, cries turn to smiles, communities are fed, broken lives are rebuilt!

Arnold Janssen Kalinga Foundation through its Program Paghilom seeks to provide a holistic program for the widows and orphans victimized by the Oplan Tokhang of the Duterte regime. She is resolved to journey with them in finding new and viable ways to re-create and empower their lives anew!
