Today, Arnold Janssen Kalinga Center provided 245 young and old homeless people with opportunities to be clean (through showers) and a decent. For today, we served meal of “sinigang sa miso na bangus”, “sweet and sour meatballs” and of course unlimited Sinandomeng rice.
When you come and visit us, you would be welcomed by smiles and when you’re with them in Station 6 of “Meals and Bonding”, one would normally hear an invitation, “kain po tayo”. This makes me wonder, this is the only decent meal they will have for the day and still, they offer it freely and with a smile.
